HG 1/144 Gundam Shining Break

This is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Shining Break. 🙂 Now, I honestly can’t tell you guys too much about this one because it’s from a Build Divers series I’m not familiar with yet. What I can tell you guys is that this is the mobile suit used by a character in the series named Ark, and was built using the Shining Gundam as the base of the build. The moving parts for the Super Mode were intentionally omitted from the Gunpla, however, Ark designed it so it could still utilize the power of the Shining Gundam’s Super Mode. It’s also built to be able to transform into a flight form.
I was sold on this kit as soon as Bandai announced it’s release because it uses one of my all time favorite mobile suits, the Shining Gundam, as the base of the build. No joke, when I found this kit at my local GameStop, I actually grabbed it off the shelf without even knowing how much it cost. I actually still have no idea what I paid for it XD. Probably around $25, but I don’t know because it didn’t have a price sticker on the box. That’s okay, though, because I’m very happy with the purchase. 😊 This is an awesome looking kit, and the articulation is fantastic! One thing I can say about this kit is that you get A LOT of extra pieces with this kit. Like, almost have of the pieces in the box are extras XD. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though. You get a lot of extra pieces for the Shining Gundam, and you also get the pieces to build an extra beam rifle, an extra head, and most of the pieces to build an extra torso section. You can complete the extra torso if you use a few spare polycaps you have laying around. You only get one sticker decal for the eyes, but if you have a real steady hand, you paint the eyes on the extra head. All in all, this is an awesome kit, and just a beautiful looking mobile suit. Definitely worth picking up if you find it. 😊
