HG 1/144 Gundam Pharact

This is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Pharact. The Gundam Pharact comes to us from Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch From Mercury. The Gundam Pharact is a Gundam type Mobile Suit developed by Peil Technologies. The Pharact employs new thrusters known as Blast Boosters, which give the unit the flight capabilities Peil is known for. The GUND FORMAT also allows it to effectively regulate inertia, enabling it to engage in battle on all three axes whether in space or under gravity. The Pharact apprehends enemies using the GUND-BIT stun feature and can attack from any position thanks to its high mobility and precision sniping skills.

As far as the level of detail goes, I’m very impressed by this kit. Bandai did a really great job of recreating the sleek profile of the Gundam Pharact. This kit doesn’t have the most impressive articulation in this line in my opinion. Not terrible, but not as exceptional as some of the other kits in this line. Like all the kits that replicate the GUND-ARM system, you get stickers to let you decide whether or not you want to display the kit with the system “activated” or not.

To display it with the GUND-BITs deployed, you’ll need two of the With From Mercury display stands (sold separately). As far as issues go, this is a really good looking kit, but the parts that cover the shoulders have a tendency to get in the way a lot when you’re trying to pose the arms. It’s not too big a deal, since you can just move them out of the way while you pose the arms, but it’s still a bit annoying. Overall, this is a pretty decent kit, but not the best to come out of this line. If you’re a big fan of the Gundam Pharact, I’d say go ahead and pick it up.
