HG 1/144 Gundam Double X

This is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Double X. 🙂 I actually don’t know which series this mobile suit comes from in all honesty. I mai my bought this one because I really digged the look of it. 🙂 And it really is a really nice looking Gunpla! I absolutely love the design of this kit! The build itself is pretty straightforward, but there’s definitely some paintwork and panel lining you’ll need to do to get it looking how it does on the box. It’s definitely worth the work, though, as this thing looks great! The satellite cannon gimmick is really cool, but the gold pieces under the armor and the lower arms are a real pain to get to come out. I find that using the tip of the beam saber blades helps make that step of the gimmick a lot easier. After working on this kit, I actually kind of want to pick up the Master Grade version, now. 😄 But yeah, this is definitely a pretty neat kit, and very fun to pose. It’s definitely worth picking up if you spot it at your local hobby shop. 😊
