HG 1/144 Gundam Deathscythe

This is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Deathscythe. 🙂 Once Bandai began rolling out the revives for the Gundam Wing kits, I could not wait for them to make this kit! 😃 The Gundam Deathscythe is one of my top favorite mobile suits from Gundam Wing, and this kit did not disappoint! 🙂

Among the revives of the Gundam Wing mobile suits, this one is by far my favorite so far! The color separation on this kit is really good, and barely any paintwork is needed to get it looking how it does on the box. The articulation is what you’d expect from a modern high grade kit, but it also has a neat gimmick with the knee armor that can give the legs an extra bit of a bend at the knee. The thrusters in the shoulders can also be moved to give the arms some extra outward movement. And unlike past versions of the Gundam Deathscythe kits, the emitter of the blade on the scythe can actually be moved let it double as a spear or staff weapon. Bandai really went the extra mile to give this kit as much pose ability as possible to let it strike all kinds of great action poses. All in all, this is a really great high grade kit, and I definitely recommend it for fans of Gundam Wing. 😄
