HG 1/144 Gundam Astray Red Frame Inversion

This is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Astray Red Frame Inversion. 🙂 This kit may very well be one of my favorites from the Gundam Breaker Battlelogue line on kits. It may be a remold of the one of the previous Gundam Astray Red Frames, but it boasts a surprisingly wid range of articulation. Like a lot of the remolds, this kit needs a bit of extra paintwork to get it looking how it does on the box. It comes with some color correcting sticker decals, but there are still spots that you may want to touch up with paint. I’ve tried to find some things about this kit that could have been done better, but this is honestly one of those ones that’s so well executed that I had trouble finding what could have been done better. For the sake of an unbiased review, though, the arms tend to gradually loosen until they pop out if you move the shoulders around too much while you’re posing the kit, and the side skirt pieces fit in a bit loosely. Both are only minor inconvenience that occur while you’re posing it sometimes, so I can overlook them. All in all, this is a really cool looking version of the Gundam Astray Red Frame, and if you’re a fan of the Gundam Astray and it’s various forms, I highly recommend picking up this kit. 🙂
