HG 1/144 GM Guard Custom

This is the High Grade 1/144 GM Guard Custom. 🙂 I got this kit a couple of months ago, but never really got around to taking pictures of it until now because of how hectic things have been at my place the last couple of months. Now that they’re finally settling down, here this kit is. 🙂 Now, The first thing I’m going to say about this kit is to abandon the idea of pulling off the pose on the front of the box with it. I tried. The hand just grips the shield way too loosely to hold it up like that. This doesn’t mean it can’t pose with the shield at all, just that it can’t do any overly dynamic poses with it. Other than that, though, this is a pretty great looking GM, and the articulation is fantastic. If you can overlook how loosely it holds the shield, then this is a really great kit. 🙂
