Description

This is the High Grade 1/144 Darilbalde. :) This mobile suit comes to us from Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch From Mercury, and was piloted in an episode by Guel Jeturk. Developed as a proof-of-concept for Jeturk Heavy Machinery's 5th generation of mobile suits, the Darilbalde was produced prioritizing adaptation of next-gen military drone technology to a mobile suit. It is also equipped with a Decision Making Extension AI capable of self-learning and autonomous operation of the mobile suit.

The Darilbalde may be one of my favorite kits so far in The Witch From Mercury line. Fantastic detail and articulation made this an absolute joy to work on, and the finished kit looks fantastic! To display it with the drones deployed, you’ll need two of The Witch From Mercury display stands (sold separately).

Aside from it being a bit of a pain hooking up the drones to the display stands, this is honestly one of the few kits that I can’t find anything wrong with. It’s just a great kit, looks amazing displayed! 😄

I usually try to aim for the pose on the front of the box with few exceptions. As for for the beam effect parts, I actually kind of like the purple, even though it is the wrong color. I’m really not sure why they made them purple instead of the neon green, but I still think the purple looks pretty neat.
