Blokees Classic Class TF One Sentinel Prime

This is the Blokees Classic Class Transformers One Sentinel Prime model kit. Like all kits in the Blokees Transforms line, this kit requires no paint, tools, or glue to assemble. This kit has 91 pieces, and features light-up eyes. The light unit uses one 3V CR927 button cell battery. Unfortunately, the way this particular one is designed, you do have to open the torso to get to the battery compartment, but it’s fairly easy.

I’m going to be honest, of all of the Blokees kits I’ve built so far, this one is probably my least favorite so far. The pictures and box art mad this kit look really promising, but I feel like it falls short of other kits in the line. Namely the articulation. Blokees kits tend to have very basic articulation, which I’ve never really had an issue with considering these Classic Class ones are $15 each. However, the articulation in the head and elbows on this kit are terrible. What you see in this picture is pretty much the extent of the side to side movement of the head, the way the arms are done obstructs a lot of the articulation in the elbow. That said, this isn’t a terrible model. It actually does look quite good for the low price tag, and the metallic blue and gold does pop really nicely on this kit. It also comes with the parts to convert him to his battle mode, which is a pretty cool bonus.

All in all, while this is my least favorite Blokees model kit so far, it still does look pretty good on display. If you’re looking for Transformers One version of Sentinel Prime to add to your collection as a display piece, I do think that this model kit is a good choice.
