Blokees Classic Class TF One B-127

This is the Blokees Classic Class Transformers One B-127 model kit. Like all kits in Blokees Transforms line, this kit requires no paint, tools, or glue to assemble. This kit has 96 pieces, and features light-up eyes. The light unit uses one 3V CR927 button cell battery. Unfortunately, this is one of those annoying Blokees kits where you have to take apart the torso section to change the battery in the light unit.

I think this may be one of my favorite Transformers One Blokees kits since the Transformers One Classic Class Optimus Prime. The metallic yellow looks really nice, and you get a lot of accessories with this one, including a separate head for his battle mask, a blaster arm, and his signature energon blade (Knife hands!). I ended up liking the version of him we see in Transformers One a lot more than I thought I was going to. Great comic relief, but at the same time, ready to throw down and get serious when the time calls for it. The articulation is what you’d expect from a Blokees Classic Class kit, and the yellow pieces are all molded from a really nice metallic plastic, giving this kit a really nice finish. This kit also includes a tiny model of Elita-1 in her vehicle mode. Exactly why, I’m not sure, as it’s pretty tiny, but it’s still a fun little bonus.

For the most part, this is a pretty solid kit. I really only have one issue with it. The hands are a bit hard to swap out because they don’t always like to stay on the ball joint. It’s a bit annoying, but once you get them on there, they stay on just fine.

All in all, this is a very fun kit to build, and perfect for beginners and pros alike. 🙂 The build is very easy, and should only take between 30-45 minutes. Aside from the issue with the hands, this is a pretty solid kit. I do think that it’s worth picking up, especially to pair with the other Transformers One Blokees kits. This was such a fun build, and I love this little guy. 😄
