Blokees Classic Class ROTB Scourge

This is the Blokees Classic Class Rise of The Beasts Scourge model kit. Like all kits in Blokees Transforms line, this kit requires no paint, tools, or glue to assemble. This kit has 60 pieces, and features light-up eyes, a light-up neck, and light-up torso. The light unit uses one 3V CR927 button cell battery. Replacing the battery is very easy on this one, as you just separate the upper and lower body, and you’ll find the battery compartment under the torso.

Is we’re talking about cool Transformers designs, it’s almost impossible to leave this version of Scourge out of the conversation. This guy is just so dark and menacing, and his design is honestly cool as hell in Rise of The Beasts. This model kit doesn’t have as many accessories as some of the others Blokees kits I’ve worked on, but he doesn’t have a lot of really nice detail molded into the plastic of his parts. One detail that I like is that they included the welded on emblems from the bots he’s killed. Unfortunately, all that’s molded on is the shapes of the emblems, but even based on the shapes, you can tell which ones they are. This kit is also designed to pair with the Blokees Classic Class ROTB Bumblebee kit (sold separately) to replicate that scene from the movie where Scourge impales him. The articulation is mostly what we’ve come to expect from this line, which the exception a bit more range of motion in the neck part.

I actually had a really hard time finding faults with this one. The kit is rock solid, and doesn’t have any loose bits you have to worry about. My only real complaint is that he doesn’t come with his blaster arm. I really wish he had included that accessory. I also wish they had included a closed fist for his blade arm.

All in all, this is a very fun kit to build, and perfect for beginners and pros alike. :) The build is very easy, and should only take between 30-45 minutes. If Scourge is your favorite Terrorcon, or if you’re working on your on Blokees ROTB collection, this kit is definitely worth picking up. 😄
