Blokees Classic Class Nemesis Prime

This is the Blokees Classic Class Nemesis Prime model kit. Like all kits in Blokees Transforms line, this kit requires no paint, tools, or glue to assemble. This kit has 72 pieces, and features light-up eyes and a light-up spark chamber. The light unit uses one 3V CR927 button cell battery, and the battery compartment is much easier to get to. Simply separate the upper body from the lower body, and the battery compartment is right under the lower body.

Nemesis Prime has always been one of my favorite Transformers characters simply because of how cool he always looks. This is a pretty cool little kit, and it comes with a surprising number of accessories. Not only do you get the same arm cannon as the ROTB Optimus Prime, but you also get two arm blades, an axe, and most interestingly, the Transwarp Key. The articulation is similar to most Classic Class Blokees kits, with the knees and elbows each getting a half bend, the hips, shoulders, hands, ankles, and head all on ball joints, and a full 360 degrees of rotation at the waist. So while the articulation in the elbows and knees isn’t the best, you can still get this guy into some really cool action poses.

As far as issues go, this is mostly a pretty solid kit. The only issue I have is that I’m not a fan of the light units in these Classic Class kits. To switch them on, you have to give the front or back of the model a good flick, and it sometimes takes a few tries to get right. The light units in will switch off automatically after about 30 seconds, but that’s not so bad. All in all, I really do like this kit, though. 🙂 This is definitely a really fun collectible for any Transformers fan, and also a really good kit for beginners. 🙂
