Tasha Animation Test 1

Been working on a present for my girlfriend since September. This is a test for feedback.

What do you think? Are there any bugs? Anything I should add or fix? Please let me know!

BTW I am aware of how the ending is choppy. I am trying to figure out how to fix it.

All done in flash

Your girlfriend is really beautiful! But this is a really good animation too! Oh my god, only if I could animate

How much filters are you using? That's usually the common problem for choppy animation for me. That, or having LOTS of animation play all at once (or play outside of frame as Mega suggested).
This shotand this motion blurred shot of my animation got laggy during playback even just playing through the timeline so I exported each frame as an image and reimported back into Flash. Took a lot of work and cranked up the file size, but it worked for me at the time. Another option I'm going to try is exporting my entire animation I'm working on as an image sequence and import it in Premiere or something and add sound there, since it will probably be way too heavy this time.

In all the shots I am using a blur filter with screen turned on. in the last two shots, I add another blur filter with a glow effect that is tweened. It's most likely what is causing the slow down. Scoot gave me the idea.

I'll make another copy of this flash and try your methods X3. Thanks, man!

I agree. Those filters are one major thing I hate about Flash because while they are simple they are just a bitch to work with sometimes. Hope it works out! :3

The only real problem I saw was that, during the profile shot, it looked like her eye was twitching. Other than that, lovely work. =)

I think I see it. It's towards the end of the profile shot, right? I never noticed...I haven't a clue what that could be, but I'll look into it. Thanks!

Yeah, it's around the end. Do you possibly have the eye set to move slightly in that section of the animation? I sometimes make that mistake when I use flash. A little slip of the mouse and BOOM! Character turns into Derpy for 2 frames. xD

It might just be me, but it looks like some frames are missing.

It looks fine on the first shot, but the other shots look like it drops framerate, have you deleted the parts of the model that isn't going to be seen?

no. what is happening is i have a filter turned on in the last two shots that is slowing it down like crazy. i'm going to have to find a new way to apply that filter or just remove it, then add it in after effects.
