Mario Party: Peach's Piranha Peril!

Looks like Rosalina isn’t the only one caught up in a bit of trouble this time. Poor Peach has somehow become the star of this Mario Party minigame… just not in the way she’d ever sign up for. Four mischievous Piranha Plants have her ankles all tied up and have even slipped off her red shoes- revealing her soft, slender feet in the open! Each player gets control of a Piranha Plant, all competing for the highest score before time runs out. But honestly… with the way things are looking, it’s hard to imagine Peach making it to the finish without dissolving into a hysterical, ticklish mess first. Try not to be too ruthless, alright? Have fun!

Sohpah: Hi again! By popular demand, I went ahead and created a Peach mini-game, similar to the Rosalina drawing! I’ll admit, this pose felt a bit ambitious since Peach is upside down this time instead of in a similar position to Rosa, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. Seeing her poor feet getting tickled by the plants came out exactly how I imagined!

If I had to give myself one tiny critique, it’d probably be the grassy background. To me, it kind of gives off those “this is what Mario will look like in 2013” vibes. It’s a little funny, honestly- I tried a few different variations to better match the Mario aesthetic, but ended up going with this one. I still think it works overall!

For this piece, I also tried to make the UI feel similar to Mario Party Jamboree, and I think it came together nicely. I’m also continuing the trend of having my OCs as the players, so if you were wondering who the characters at the bottom are- that’s them!

As for a Daisy variant, I’ll be saving that for another time. I already have a theme in mind (hint hint… Sarasaland ), but I also want to branch out and work on characters from other series too. I’ve actually been eyeing a few from a certain farming RPG- I’ll let you stew about that one for now!

I also just want to take a moment to say thank you all so much for the love on the Rosalina piece and my OC spreadsheet. I genuinely didn’t expect that level of support, especially for my OCs, so it’s been an amazing surprise. Seeing how much you all enjoyed Rosalina as well really means a lot to me- thank you, truly.
