As some of you might know, I'm trying to make a living as a artist.
I know I have a lot to learn and that doing this is though but after 1 month of working I do feel like I'm making process! :dummy:

I am tracking my journey over the year on my blog here .  if you are interested than please check it out. You can also read all about my first month

I would love to meet new people with the same goals

Thank you so much!
It's not really a career yet since it has only cost me 50 euros for now Sweating a little... I'm working on it!
(Also I read your journal about Cookie, I didn't really know how to respond, but I hope he will do better soon! I wish you both strength and love. Hug )

Welcome. :glomp:
Ah well it's a start, I paid more for supplies this week than receiving income. :hmm: Some weeks are rough and some are better, all depends. :hmm:
And thank you, your very kind.

I think that the market for art overall is very rough. Most people just love to see it, but don't like to pay for it.
Luckily I already had a lot of supplies acquired over the years. It's just the canvasses now Nod

Exactly, and sometimes when you do make something for someone their friggin cheap as heck, refusing to pay for the price. We as artists need to make a profit off of it not just the money for the supplies but we need the money for our bills, shelter, water and food.

Yeah breaking even isn't even enough and nobody things about the hours of work that go into it. Like they would accept a job for less than 2$ a hour if they wanted to support themselves.
