Armadillo

I've drawn a three-banded armadillo.

All 20 species live in Latin America exept one of them which live in the USA.

Contrary to popular belief though, the three-banded armadillo is the only species which can curl most of its body into its shell to hide from predators!

They are closely related to sloths and anteaters, live 12 to 15 years, and eat bugs, small vertibrates, plants and fruit!

Armidillo is also a Spanish word which means "little armoured one"!
