Substance Painter to DAZ Studio Tips

After I don't know how long, I think I finally nailed down all of the important and frustrating details about using Substance Painter with DAZ Studio, and I thought I would share what I found with those who might be interested. I will update this if I learn anything new, and if you have any corrections or suggestions, please let me know. These notes include using this DAZ Studio script: https://www.daz3d.com/substance-painter-assistant. It is primarily useful for quickly importing textures and automatically applying them to the correct channels, but it is VERY finicky and has caused me a great deal of frustration. Wait for a sale. 1. For somewhat more accurate previews between the two programs, set the Burn Highlights and Crush Blacks in DAZ Studio's Tone Mapping panel to 0.0 and use the same HDRI in both programs. Atelier (included with Substance Painter) is a good one. The HDRIs do not align perfectly in Studio and Substance Painter, but rotating the DAZ Studio one about 140

Certainly, it's been neat to see the environment develop! Heh, my experiments are all over the place but it's fun too. Keeps me busy, occasionally results in some decent creations, and I'm always learning something.
