My Bio
If it moves, shoot it! With a camera of course. Having moved into photography some years ago, I found myself most active in wildlife. This includes semi-urban/garden areas, as well as more exotic captive animals as found in zoos and wildlife parks. Currently of particular interest are big cats and reptiles. I've dabbled in most areas to some degree other than the human elements, such as street or portrait. They're low down on the to do list.

Ok, my last journal was over two years ago, my last submission was over a year ago, I think it is safe to say I'm not active on here any more. I do try to check in now and then but my response may be very slow. Before anyone asks, I'm not active on other sites either. Photography is something that I just don't have much time for these days.

Ok, it's been over a year since I last wrote a journal...Not got much to say I guess. Still out and about looking for interesting wildlife, although still leaning towards captive.In pet news, the two pairings of crested geckos produced 8 babes between them. Oldest babies are now about 7 months and 8g although the heaviest is a younger one at 10g. I believe the first born is a girl (red one above), but still working out the rest.Also I have started keeping fish. Not doing things by halves, I'm on 5 tanks already. Most are tropical, with some temperate minnows too. This is (probably) an Arulius barb.Anyway... now the weather has stopped suck...

Unlike zoos and wildlife parks, this isn't freely open to the public and needs arrangement in advance. It does mean you get better access to the cats, after a health and safety warning of course! I was hoping to use some of your fish and reptile pictures as prints as a raffle prize for my friend for his cancer fundraiser benefit so he can continue treatment! We plan on holding it next month so if your able to get back ahold of me before February that'd be amazing!
