Needle felted Parasprite cell phone charm

Description

A blue Parasprite, made into a cell phone charm. :D I wanted to get a picture of him attached to something, to show that he does indeed fit through the loop. At first glance, it looks like the figure would be damaged by trying to fit through such a small loop, but actually it's just fine. This is my most firmly felted piece yet (which is why I broke a 40T needle detailing his eyes) so he won't come apart easily, if at all. But I still wanted to SHOW that he's a capable charm, since most people aren't familiar with the combination strength and flexibility of felt. My DS turned out to be a troublesome subject though, because unlike most devices with such attachment points, the DS's strap loop isn't a loop, but a pair of holes that makes attaching a loop a bit challenging. But it did work. :D

Made of core wool with hand-dyed merino over the top, and the feet are corriedale. The eyes aren't flat, they bulge outward like in the show. I attached the cell phone strap by felting a little ball, then wrapping yarn around it and through the loop of the strap. Then I felted the yarn down, and felted more core wool over it. The metal ring will break before the felt. :P The wings are store bought felt sheets with hand embroidered "veins" and were then stitched into holes cut in the back, and then the stitches were felted over.

This one was a commission so he's already sold, but I'm still open for more of them. $10 for any color (though I'll assume you want show-accurate green eyes unless you say otherwise) plus shipping to anywhere. Shipping within the US is $1. I'll probably make a few more in show colors for Etsy.
