Although Penny is typically calm and collective while on duty, when it comes to someone she really cares about who's missing or in trouble, she gets anxious. This is a reference to my old dog who had separation anxiety, and always looked out the window, whining and unable to sit still when my mom went out. I miss my dog... But anyways, Penelope does not deal well with this kind of stress.
