I heard that there was supposed to be some high Auroral activity tonight. So I was driving home from college and I looked north to see a light glow a little bit above the horizon. I immediately knew what it was, but I wasn't able to pull over on the side of the road because it was a highway and that would be sketchy. So I just watched it for as long as I could. It looked almost like a fuzzy green snake, dimly lit as it curved all the way across the sky. It didn't last long, but it was absolutely wonderful.
