Woah. Mini Theory or something:
So the name of the first island of the Alola Region is Mele Mele. Melemele is the Hawaiian word for Yellow. A few people have predicted that the other three islands will be the named after the Hawaiian words for Red, Green, and Blue to commemorate the first four Pokemon Games for the 20th anniversary of Pokemon. The recently revealed Pokemon, Tapu Koko, the Guardian of Mele Mele Island, is a yellow-colored, electric type Pokemon! Does this mean that the other three Guardian Pokemon will be Fire, Water, and Grass types to go with the possible other three islands?

The other islands of the Alola region could be named Ula Ula (Red), Oma Omao (Green), and Polu (Green)!

This makes perfect sense! The other guardians will be Fire/Fairy, Water/Fairy, and Grass/Fairy. Maybe they all fold up and make a totem pole?

Interesting theory. The fact that we will be able to trade from the virtual console Red/Blue/Yellow would support this theory as well

Yeaah i though about that too, I'm glad that I'm not crazy haha
Maybe the artificial island has lunala or solgaleo as an guardian? Like, white is all colors mixed... and "it all comes together" could mean that! Maybe they are created too, that's why they're similar....

4 islands, 4 guardians, 1 artificial island, 1 artificial guardian aka Magearna

Idk. I do think that makes sense, but the island doesn't strike me as something to be guarded by an emissary of the sun or moon. It strikes me more as one guarded by well Magearna. Of course I do see what you mean. Of course, if I'm right and Solgaleo and Lunala aren't guardians, then I wonder how they'll function in the story? I feel like we can piece together more about three Pokemon we technically don't even know exist more than the two mascots that have.

What about the fifth artificial one? Grey maybe, since its guardian would be Magearna? Maybe the island is called Hinahina.

I just made a big theory journal regarding many aspects of the Guardians and Islands. This journal sparked a few ideas of my own. You're credited at the top of it.

yeah that's probably how it is. Considering that "it all comes together in Pokemon Sun and Moon" and it's the 20th anniversary
