I'm honestly beginning to hate Mythical Pokemon...

Nothing against Zeraora because it has kind of a cool design, but GameFreak is giving me little to no reason for me to care about them anymore.

Since Gen 5/6, you simply get a Pokemon over Wi-Fi or from a code from Gamestop or something, and there's your "mythical" Pokemon. They're boring. Plus, a lot of the time they're level 100 so what would I even do with it?

I honestly loved getting the Member Card in Platinum to go catch Darkrai on New Moon Island. Plus, it was at level 50, and although I wasn't really going to use it in a team, I still leveled it up to level 100. I actually CARED about it.

Honestly, treating Mythical Pokemon right is probably my second biggest hope for the Switch Pokemon titles just under the Battle Frontier. Seriously, I honestly don't care at all about Zeraora.

Well on the other hand, I like it because I actually get a chance to get the Pokemon. Back in the day, my country would never do any sort of events where you could even get the mythical Pokemon so it's definitely better on my end.

Would I prefer if we got an item or something that unlocks a short little story instead? Definitely, but I do prefer the wi-fi method.

Oh I understand that! Distribution, I feel like their doing an alright job. Of course here in the US, they do have store distributions with codes occasionally, so that can be kind of annoying. I'm not sure how they do it there though. Is it exclusively Wi-fi?

I think the best way to distribute it is Wi-fi. It's easy. Everyone can get it pretty much. It works. But distribute an item to get the Pokemon instead.

They started doing code distributions at stores I think during the XY period. I never really noticed them before that anyway. They may have during BW but I didn't like that generation so didn't care

I agree though, I'd much rather have the distribution be an item that unlocks a mini side story so you get to catch it yourself. It feels more like an accomplishment

I actually really like Zeraora's design. But I do agree with your points, Mythical Pokemon don't have the same appeal as they did back in the previous Pokemon games. Just walking up and getting it doesn't feel the same. Most of the time they're already at level 100 and can't be nicknamed anyway, so it feels less personal for each trainer since they can't name and raise it like they can with other Pokemon.

They give the same effect to shiny Pokemon too. Legendaries and others become locked to never appear shiny because 'It makes the legendaries less special', but oh ANYBODY can download their free shiny Tapu Koko from the wifi network! THAT'S special...

Same here. It's quite boring and not "productive" at all, especially if we think they could have added a little room for an event just like you said about Darkrai.

A llittle island or cave, nothing more, that would have been funny and satisfying, I'm witcha mate...also, I think Zeraora looks a lot better in its shiny version (imho) :P

Exactly. I can't help but see all the missed opportunities with these Pokemon. I mean come on, unlock those locked Kalos Power Plant doors to get Volcanion and a special room inside that reflective cave to get Diancie. So disappointing

Definitely the 2nd point. I acknowledge that.

I thought a furry means someone who wishes to be a anthromophic animal.

I didn't know that it means someone who is very attracted to an anthro.

Well, someone got pissed off by my words :P
Anyway, is it really true that the true definition of a furry is/are people who are very attracted to anthromophic animals?
