WDay 8 - Winter FunThe crisp air was all encompassing. The chilly weather was perfect for walking. The sun barely rose over the mountain. Beams of light ripped through the still air, causing a nice warmth to the freezing cold. The bright landscapes making gorgeous sights to the simple path. Small patches of white from what little remained of the snow that fell the other day. A slight shivering was inevitable in the cool environment. The cold stimulus had a nice calm to it, the path made even more peaceful. Silence made thinking easy, something rare to happen. Such a wonderful walk, a nice way to spend time. The noise of shoe to pavement making a rhythmic pattern. Everything was so calm that walk. Birds chirping, breathe fogging, and that cool breeze acting as a cold blanket. The temperatures might have been annoying if it wasn’t for the warm embrace of the sun. Walking is not active, not by a long shot, but the tranquility of it more than makes up for it. It makes for a fun way to pass time d
WDay 7 - TiredEyes grow weary with every minute passing. He couldn’t take much longer of this, but he hadn't finished his work. He was a worker, he couldn’t simply give up on any projects. It was an unstoppable force of stubborn, he wasn’t going to give in to sleep just yet. Just a little while later and he would be free to sleep all he wanted. Pushing through the tiredness and exhaustion. He had done it. He could finally lose himself to the eternal void of peace and tranquility. Where he was free to rest.
WDay 6 - Lumber MillSawdust filled the air, the thick smell overriding anyone's senses. The old lumber mill was abandoned for years left to the elements. The old man walked towards the old facility, memories rushing back. The mill was bustling, even growing the small town near holding many of its occupants. The need of wood ran the destruction of swaths of land. Eventually money ran low, the company disbanded. The old man missed the old days of hard labor, he was a worker by nature. The humid environment of the area became dense, making the old man lose his bearing. The fog lifted a little but not by much, visibility was still low. The old rusted equipment making an unnerving aesthetic to the old mill. The mist slowly engulfed the mill and it's one last remaining worker. The old man lost to his own work, forever surrounded by that wonderful sawdust smell.
WDay 5 - Lost at SeaFog barreled over the ship, the air cold. There was several days left before they were to arrive at the nearest port. Communications died out, this caused a lot of panic. A couple days have passed, the fog remained. The wet salty air ate away at the sailors senses, slowly driving them mad. A dull drum could be heard across the vessel, the rhythmic sounds offering an unsettling feeling. More time passed with a seeming lack of day or night making time seem non existent. How long have they been out here, how long has this damned fog followed them? Rations were running low they couldn’t last long. With communications cut and the navigation tools breaking just a short while to go they had no clue where they were. Some of the sailors became very paranoid, the crew was constantly fighting. One of the sailors, an old frail man, was targeted. The old man was thrown overboard into the thick murky water. The screams and subsequent splash broke some of the others causing them to throw
