WDay 6 - Lumber MillSawdust filled the air, the thick smell overriding anyone's senses. The old lumber mill was abandoned for years left to the elements. The old man walked towards the old facility, memories rushing back. The mill was bustling, even growing the small town near holding many of its occupants. The need of wood ran the destruction of swaths of land. Eventually money ran low, the company disbanded. The old man missed the old days of hard labor, he was a worker by nature. The humid environment of the area became dense, making the old man lose his bearing. The fog lifted a little but not by much, visibility was still low. The old rusted equipment making an unnerving aesthetic to the old mill. The mist slowly engulfed the mill and it's one last remaining worker. The old man lost to his own work, forever surrounded by that wonderful sawdust smell.
WDay 5 - Lost at SeaFog barreled over the ship, the air cold. There was several days left before they were to arrive at the nearest port. Communications died out, this caused a lot of panic. A couple days have passed, the fog remained. The wet salty air ate away at the sailors senses, slowly driving them mad. A dull drum could be heard across the vessel, the rhythmic sounds offering an unsettling feeling. More time passed with a seeming lack of day or night making time seem non existent. How long have they been out here, how long has this damned fog followed them? Rations were running low they couldn’t last long. With communications cut and the navigation tools breaking just a short while to go they had no clue where they were. Some of the sailors became very paranoid, the crew was constantly fighting. One of the sailors, an old frail man, was targeted. The old man was thrown overboard into the thick murky water. The screams and subsequent splash broke some of the others causing them to throw
WDay 4 - Exchange of Merwood Part 2A high pitched noise rang out through the warehouse signaling the silent assassins to open fire. The signal confused the packages guardians sending them to arm themselves. There were 10 people assigned to the convoy armed with silenced weapons. Whereas the small band of five sent to the area only had small arms and makeshift devices. The raid started with an explosion rippling the air around it. Force from the bomb sent 3 people flying, two dead, one heavily injured. The small band of three kept some difference from the cargo allowing the explosive going off without damage to the key target. Quickly the group of five opened fire on the other seven. The speed of the attack sending the escorts into disarray. Four fell in the short amount of time that had passed while two others were injured. Even with only some survivors their retaliation was painful. WDay 3 - Exchange of Merwood Part 1Merwood, a simple warehouse, held something very important. A small exchange with large companies was concealed by the inconspicuous facility. However this illusion wasn’t infallible. A group found this interaction and realized the potential profit. A small group were set to infiltrate the area and steal the cargo. The trucks arrived with a small but heavily armed convoy. Fitting for the phantom mission. The small group had a similarly light but strong loadout. The companies had much more firepower while the infiltrators had the advantage of stealth.The meeting had come as everyone prepared for the inevitable onslaught. Time slowed to a crawl in those last silent seconds. The guards carefully watching the area in the event of an ambush. The intruders waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The air chilled in the preparation of the chaos that was bound to those next vital seconds.
