LOZ Timeless Sea -chp. 3-His eyes were the only thing she could remember. Not his lips, his skin, his sandy hair, his brilliant scales- just his eyes. The most royal of blue, the color of deep water. They spoke fiercely, yet gently.Strangely- she felt like she had met him before. Like she knew those eyes unforgettably.Foolish- she would have known if she met this large humanoid if she were a thousand years old and was introduced to him as he came out of the womb. But as ridiculous as it was, the notion still stood- there was something about the aquatic beast that rang a bell to her. A loud bell. The merman had only been at the laboratory overnight. Apparently a few workers stayed there to keep an eye on him, but Zelda could trust at least on her aching feeling that it didn't go over well. She wished she could have stayed. Oh, she truly wished.Entering the building, she was greeted almost immediately by one of her coworkers. "Zelda-" he said, smiling a welcome. "We need you to check on, er, Link right away."
