07 - Bend When You Can, Break When You Must Remember this place.
Remember where you are.
You’ll never be here again.
Not like this.
Not as you are
Right now.
Right now
Is all that matters.
Reflect on the past,
Honor your misdeeds and triumphs,
And those who have come and gone.
Organize the future,
Set into motion your misdeeds and triumphs
And those who will come and go.
But now,
Right now,
Is all that matters.
Listen to the wind, the way
It gently breathes, and the way
It cleaves and howls.
Feel the ocean, the way
It pushes and pulls, and the way
It roils and purifies.
Look at the sky, the way
Its azure eternity blankets the world
And the way it humbly gives way
To the dark, when it is time.
Be like this.
Breathe gently when you can,
Cleave and howl when you have to.
Push and pull when you can,
Roil and purify when you have to.
Blanket the people and the objects of your affection
With all that you are,
And when it is time,
Humbly give way to the dark.
