As the purple night sky overtakes the horizon, Snapjaws bunker down in their dens to wait for the coming day. The sun recedes behind the mountain's peak and the noise of small creatures which embraced the Valley is silenced. It was eerily quiet. The leaves of the grove barely swished in the wind, whereas the wind was all the Skyjaws could hear. Seajaws huddle together with friends or family, while others were tucked away in their own caves.

It wasn't long before a loud bellow was heard, the roar of a dragon, yet the howl of a wolf. It echoed throughout the Valley, waking up sleeping Snapjaws. Jawlings chirped their cries to their parents. With the roar came another, but it wasn't as strong as the first and it loomed over the Valley longer.

Fed up with the fear they had been living in of the night. Some Snapjaws rised up to investigate the threat. The leaders of each region gave each patrol their blessing and with it, the four patrols made their way into the large forest east of the Valley.

Even within the forest, there was still silence. Something had taken hold here. Something which threatens to do the same to the Valley if left alone long enough.
The patrols pushed through until they arrived in a large clearing, illuminated by the moonlight. The large creature which took root in this clearing, swung its head towards the patrols upon catching their foreign scents. Without warning, it let out an agitated roar and charged at the patrol...

5 Points for every 100 words
10 Points for background description (must include at least 3 sentences of detail)
15x extra characters in the piece (each character must play a prominent roll - cannot be in the background, must perform an action)
20 Points for including the boss (At least 2 sentences of details, 2 sentences of action)
15 Bonus points for every 1000 words

The difference in BFTV is that your point totals will be used in defeating the boss! The more points you have, the more damage you do! Damage done will be calculated like this:

Now, this might not make very much sense right now, but don't worry I got it covered! I'll comment on any attack artwork with the damage you dealt to the boss!

Players will be asked to join one of the two teams in order to particpate in the event. The idea of the event is to create artwork for team points (think of artfight if you've participated in that). Listed below are the criteria for getting points in this event.
(You may not mix artwork with writing!)
