Hey guys! Sometimes they will sit for you, other times not so much. When they do we usually take opportunistic photos such as this one. With a moving snake it's really a matter of timing and luck for closeups; you set your distance and depth, try to blindly capture the animal in the center without looking through the camera, and take many, many photos, most of which get discarded :)
