When you stop for a while you notice that the world flows by so fast that you need something to cling on. But sometimes stopping is good. The fresh green of the leaf is really nice here, how well it stands out from the rush of the water. I also like the composition, the way the leaf's on the left. And I have to say that when I first looked at this the water looked like the fur of a horse.

The world is going by so fast, and this one lone leaf is clinging to stillness... Remarkable.

Good, balanced composition and a really good subject.

I like the shutter speed you used.
I prefer it when there is still some detail left in the water and i think you chose wisely.

The only thing i could suggest would be if you had chosen a tighter composition where the leaf was more dominant in the picture. I think that would have been a much stronger composition and might've made the picture more impactful.

Apart from that, it is entirely wonderful =)

Very nice composition and focus on the leaf...
I love the way the water rushes past it... :)
