Description
Alright, this was meant to be a cubist piece. Not entirely certain if this fits that. I've never been great with abstractions, but I think this is certainly abstract.
Originally this was actually two images, the statue in the foreground was actually a living statue (man wearing gold painted clothes and gold facepaint), and the background was an image from Trafalgar Square in London (During the filming of one of the Doctor Who holiday specials, I believe!) The living statue was from another part of London, though I don't recall the exact street. He appeared to be hovering, with only one foot on the ground and still appearing seated. (I say that so maybe you'll be able to see it if you look at the image the right way. Or maybe not).
I didn't like the background of the first, because of so many people. So I composited them before I made them look like they belonged in the same image, then tweaked it out, making it look like a pencil drawing, adjusting the colours, and making it more abstract. I quite like the background clocktower. I rather like the image without all the abstractions, I might add those here as well.
EDIT: Used in Pierce College's SLAM magazine for 2016!
