Great directors but pains in the ass

We know there are famous directors who we admire and inspired by them. But sometimes they can be a pain to deal with.

James Cameron is well known for Titanic and Avatar, but he can get overboard like nailing people cellphones to the wall in order to get a shot. Dude you know there’s a mute button right? That and long shooting hours and filming dangerous scenes that nearly cost the lives of two actors.

Stanley Kubrick- he directed the Shining, Clockwork orange and 2001 space Odyssey. But he is a perfectionist and will reshoot the scene even if the take was fine. That and I did not agree with his method of bullying Shelley Duvall on the set of the Shining to get a real reaction.

Ridley Scott- He gave us Blade Runner, but he had some arguments with Harrison Ford over creative differences during filming Blade runner.

Those are some examples I can think of. If I list them all we would be here all day.

Let this be a warning to anyone who wants a career in acting or working on a film crew.
