I have a volunteer grape tomato this year. It start right under a regular tomato that was way too close. I transplanted it to an open area to give it a chance.

With the recent rain, it's growing wild. It has dozens of tomatoes started and has spread past the bounds of its trellis.

The regular tomatoes are doing ok, but they're ripening slowly. The grape tomatoes are going to overwhelm me soon enough. I've got some friends who might share them. I don't like food going to waste!

I've heard that some people with gardens have taken to trading with their friends and neighbors. I don't know what the situation in your neighborhood is like, but that could work with your abundance of grape tomatoes!
