What is the correct way to address a (business) letter to someone who identifies as they?
My thought is address everyone as M. regardless of how they identify.
Dear M. Jones,
I am grateful for your friendship. I hope that we can speak online soon. I have several different video conference tools available so we could meet whichever way is most comfortable for you.
I've tried your recipe and I must admit that my skill is a little weak. My version was not "bad" as such, but it wasn't at the caliber of your work. Perhaps when we speak you could give me more pointers.
I was sorry to hear about your friend Kevin. They were really a beautiful person and I am know they will be missed by all of us.
