Grem October promt 2021
Untitled menace gazed at the sky, his tiny clawed hands clutching grass below him as he stepped into a strange-looking tent. He'd snuck into the carnival in hopes of getting some food scraps from one of the trash bins, and had found himself trapped inside the carnival. He was silent save for the ringing of a cat bell that Lila had placed on him, in some sort of attempt to keep track of the splice. A plan that had failed once he was placed on the ground, and had skittered off to cause trouble.  He hadn't understood much of the rambles of maskoff or the grems accompanying them, something about being trapped, something about games, but his attention was elsewhere. He saw something he hadn't quite laid his eyes on before, grems with a similar mutation to his own. Tilting his head to the side the predatory splice looked to the ground, before looking upwards again. Untitled menace didn't understand much English but he managed to spit out some words. "Br-others?" It came out quietly as he was led with the panicked crowd to the back of the carnaval. He wanted to try to approach some of the grems that appeared similar to himself, but he knew that was a poor choice.  It took some time for the baby splice to decide what to do, plopping himself on the ground he looked at the various events terrified germs desperately rushed to, he could go to the pumpkins, but he wrinkled his nose, not fond of the idea of being near so many vegetables. He could go through the mysterious maze, but it made a shiver run up his spine, so he looked towards the colourful tent that had music blasting, and stood up scampering inside.  Inside of the tent, untitled menace was met with a wondrous sight. A massive brightly lit carnival tent, with a large grem inside that appeared to be glaring at another grem, whom was flying upward. The large grem was massive, the tiny splice dwarfing it in comparison. It had a white and orange body that almost reminded untitled menace, of the of the animal he had seen in a picture book Lila had given him, a tiger.  The grem called Crusher, who had finished glaring at the flying beetle-like grem in the air swiftly turned his attention to the tiny splice that had made its way into the tent. A grin spread across Crusher’s face as he approached untitled menace, towering off the tiny creature. Untitled menace in return gazed upward seeming unafraid of the grem who could have easily tossed him across a field if he so desired.  Laughing Crusher patted the tiny splices head speaking up, his tone gruff seeming amused that such a little grem had dared enter his tent. "Tough one aren't you? How would you like to play a game?" Grinning still, Crusher extended a hand outwards to show off the vast array of activities set up.   Untitled menace was unsure what was being offered, the large grem towering over him seemed intimidating, but games had always been fun, and so he would walk around a moment examining the different activities that had been set up, before stopping at a climbing rope and pointing at it and speaking. “Climb.”  Crusher would grin nodding in understanding, although the tiny splice wasn’t much for words Crusher could make out what it was trying to say. “You want to climb then, alright get ready, and on my signal we’ll climb the rope. First one to the top wins.” Untitled menace listened to Crusher's instructions, stepping up to the rope and gripping onto it looking at Crusher, who seemed pretty confident in himself. “On your mark… get set… go. Before the tiny grem knew it, Crusher had begun to launch himself up the rope, it was pretty surprising to see such a massive grem move with such ease upward. Untitled menace was not concerned, however, instead focusing on moving himself upwards. Wrapping his prehensile tail around the rope, he would jump upwards beginning to ascend, his small size helping move him upwards more quickly. It wasn’t long before he began to pass Crusher, who seemed less than thrilled at the thought of losing to a baby splice grem of all things, making an outwardly attempt to pick up the pace. He would be unsuccessful in his enveverous however untitled menace managing to push his way fully up to the top, perching himself upwards as he waited, moments later crusher reaching the same point the splice was at.  “You did good kid.” the large grem said looking towards Untitled Menace, he seemed almost disappointed as he followed up on his statement. “You’re free to leave my tent, come down from the rope, I have a little something for you that should help you leave if you so desire.”  Sliding down from the rope untitled menace looked around, he almost didn’t want to leave the Circus, he’d had so much fun here seeming rather oblivious to the danger he could potentially be in. But he knew he’d have to leave, and who knows maybe he’d meet those predatory grems he had run into again…

Dear diary, or notebook or something. Varian told me to write this journal to help, even if I think its dumb, I told actually it was dumb, but whatever. I'm writing this to express my feelings and put down my memories to help me cope with loss or something like that.
Memories are a blur to me they always have been, in my thirty four years of life time has moved by so quickly. I don’t pay attention to this world or those in it, except Varian- anyway today is May 18th, and if Violet were alive she'd be eighteen now. I'd tell her how big she'd gotten and sh

Lila hadn't expected to take in a baby grem during the holidays, she hadn't even been aware they existed until she had heard a soft scraping at her door. When she opened it a tiny creature had dashed inside and shoved itself beneath the couch. It had taken a broom, several slices of baloney, and a makeshift net made out of a jacket to catch the damn thing, and to top it off she had to take great care not to be torn to shreds by the angry little bastard, now that it was all said and done she had a mini menace glaring at her from her now shredded up couch with its arms crossed. Lila had alway been a flashy grem, she didn't aim to be but the pink and brown beauty had quite a following thanks to her stardom. Her plan had been to lay low and relax in her apartment, bask in her temporary quiet place before she had to go back to performing. Her apartment had been neatly decorated with a white shag rug on the floor, pink Christmas lights lined the walls, and a lovely tree was planted by her

Blood, that was all Willow could taste has she sucked in a deep breath. Willow had taken a blow from another fighter she had pissed off and was currently trying to recover, even life outside the ring could oftentimes lead to trouble if you were cocky and Willow could have quite the mouth on her. She sat back sighing, wiping her face, smearing the blood and temporarily leaving red streaks on her otherwise purple and white face fluff. She knew she'd never get comforted after the blow, her smart mouth had earned her a good knock in the face however thinking about the lack of attention did bring back fonder memories. Once upon a time she had been a child, not all grems could say that but she had been spliced together a grem made from the love of two others. Willow smiled to herself, she had grown up in the ring but something was coming back to her, a memory that was lodged deep into her mind. It had to have been years ago now, a younger Willow squeaked out running around, the child

Koi was cleaning the beach, it was a difficult task not only due to his heavy layer of fur basically baking him in the sun but also the mass amounts of trash, it felt overwhelming and unbearable to even think about, and he couldn't imagine the entire beachfront being fully cleared off. The grems thoughts were soon interrupted however when he noticed another grem on the beach he would approach letting out a soft snarl.
Asriel had been minding his own business until a large dipshit he knew very well approached him, he had been cleaning the beach in peace and had been enjoying himself until he took notice of the savage lumbering towards him.

“Was it Koi, you wanted to be called Koi?” The policeman's voice was harsh has he stared down the grem, Koi could practically feel the disapproval radiating off him.
“Yes call me Koi.” His tone was quiet, every so often he would glance down at the ground nervously.
“Can you explain exactly what happened in your own words Koi?” The man would sit back staring at koi, he seemed so judgemental, that didn’t make Koi very happy.
