marya i LOVE ur TAT \m/
There' several problems with this. First being that arabic is always written in cursive. All Letters are supposed to be connected in a word, Barring a few exceptions. Second Arabic is read from right to left the complete opposite of English. To any Arabic speakers this reads A E R A M instead of Maria Which i assume was the desired effect. Please do research before tattooing or receiving tattoo's of foriegn languages you aren't fluent in, or better yet don't do it at all.

of course i have no idea of arabic language (and my english is awful as well!), this was the first tattoo i did and my customer gave me the design already done, so it was ok to me. Im sorry if it offends you, but the girl was happy with her tattoo... and the customer is always right!
Anyway, is good to learn of our mistakes, and we shouldn't stop doing things if the first time we don't succeed, don't you think?
Not your fault at all. If a customer walks into a shop and asks for something it's their own responsibility to research it and figure out what is wrong and right. if she couldn't put any more effort than just directly translating letters on google translator then how is that your fault. It doesn't offend me, it's no skin off my back. I speak arabic and have had two arabic calligraphy pieces done and i know what they say. it just seems to be the new fad. like chinese lettering was a few years ago.
Sorry if i came off rude

I agree, fashion is becoming a very weird thing!
