I see that you are a staff member of dA in the "community" department. If you are a person in charge of community aspects on dA, can you please explain to me why dA is ignoring the concerns of the disabled community? I and many other users cannot use Eclipse because of the high-contrast colour scheme. More than 5 minutes on Eclipse gives me vertigo, nausea, throbbing pain, and visual hallucinations. (Like millions of people around the world, I suffer from chronic migraine.) I have been commenting about this for months and have heard NOTHING from staff about the matter. It will really destroy dA's community to chase off disabled users like me. Please can you explain why the disabled community has been totally ignored for months? Or do you not consider us an important enough part of the community to address our concerns?

Eclipse is still a work in progress project and nobody is forced to use it so far.

That's not entirely true. New users only have access to Eclipse. That's besides the point though; Eclipse has been receiving this feedback since it first debuted months ago. Starting with beta testers and now joined by all of us who can access it, people have been leaving feedback about how the colour scheme and blurry images affect our migraines for many months now. But while staff have promised they are working on some requested features (e.g. gallery search, which was recently added), we've never heard any acknowledgement of our health issues and have received no reassurance that the team is working on a fix. It's a bit baffling because adding more colour options seems like it should be a very easy fix for anyone who can code. This leaves us wondering whether we will ever be able to use the site once Eclipse is made permanent. Not a great look for someone on dA's community relations team.

I heard about the new users. But like I said Eclipse is still being worked on. I am pretty sure they heard about your issues, but the work they do takes time and they can't change everything at once.
There is a possibility that artists will even be able to change the color scheme on their own.
