Chapter 4
Griffin

We finally reached land the rich order the working on the ship to start building, and us kids to find people who live here from allies.
At first, our parents were against this, but they claimed that once the captain said he would go with them. We walked into the forest, and not long we got to a house that looked like the brown from Harry Potter. We knocked on the door the door opened, and with a sign of relief of the woman who answered it.

She had dark red skin and three green eyes, she let us in and listened to us while giving us tea. She then got a jug of glowing balls, "The best way to get the queen to agree with your a citizenship. Is to have magic to make a part with are griffins" she told us. Without hesitation, my sister took one soon after I took it, and we both fell unconscious.


I woke up in a room upstairs, a huge bird head came through the window nuzzl at me I laughed. The captain and the woman come upstairs she smiled and said "see their fine.
We went downstairs and outside to the huge Griffin outside the blue wings and a peacock tail, but it was as big as a house. "In this country, racing means everything it doesn't matter how much power or money it matters how many wins you have."

We smiled at that, and then we brought the women to the village. She didn't like the rich children baring in telling them that it doesn't matter who has magic. What matter is your partner? After everyone has magic, she explains who is partnering with who. "There are four Griffins we know of the flying Griffins (that she showed us a picture of a Griffin we saw in books half loin and bird). The water Griffin ( she showed us her next picture, which is a half fish and half bird). Then the running griffin (that looked like a half cheetahs and half bird but no wings relying on it's legs power instead). And last is the dragon Griffin (that has the body of a dragon but the face of a bird).

"Fire is rare magic to have it that why they are part noble." Surprisingly, only three children had fire magic that was a boy whose parents worked as cooks. A girl who only had a dad who worked as a watcher and our older sister, we were taken to the nesting grounds to get our parents. Me and my sister got normal Griffin, but we were happy to have them. Then, after everyone got their partners, we were taken back home. The woman told us she will go to the queen and tell her about us. We were or so we told that when we would choose to become a rider or a researcher.
