The rangers took over the police stations, and they found out that pokemon were experiments as well as children going missing.

The professor was good friends with the leader of the rangers who were staying at his house. But the professor saw himself as a superhero, so he listened to talks with the rangers about a laboratory nearby. And decide to go and help before the rangers get there. He finds there a blood bath of scientists and people holding guns and pokemon, which means the children and pokemon made escape. He walks inside and then hears a crying. He runs a room that has twelve on the door where a dead girl and boy who hug her. The boy got angry and used his abilities, which would be psychic like lifts things in the air or destroy boulders. With one hit or cut anything out of your way or shift, which is turn things back on the person who fires it, and that includes handcuffs. And last is making people see their wost nightmare come to life.

The professor calms the boy down by saying that the girl will come with us so she can be buried in the sun. The boy follows the professor who or so finds started pokemon, beings experimented now they were different types and look different. He took them to worry about what the rangers would do to the pokemon the people had just calm down they didn't know about this. He got home and buried the girl who was number nine. After the professor told the boy to become a pokemon training, it would protect him from the rangers.

This is when you're introduced to your rivals, a girl wearing cat ears who want to be an idol and a boy who is into Ghost pokemon. You're then chosen two pokemon, the Starters the professor found in the lab and the ones he was planning to give out.
