Beauty hath charms to sooth the savage beast! The Rancor didn't want to eat Oola, he was just jealous of all the attention Jabba was getting. With Jabba out of the way, he could do as he pleased. He wanted her to dance for him. She found some drums of Formaldehyde, which the Rancor swills like beer. They have an arrangement. She dances for him, and he makes everybody else serve her. Now Oola runs the palace, because nobody's going to mess with her "little" pet. Or maybe she is the Rancor's little pet...
