Ghosts - 1, 2, and 3

It's been a while since I made one of these 'exploration' comics, and one which continues on a long page. I used to make my comics like this a long time ago and forgot the skill at some point.

Anyway, I thought the Wanderer needed a little attention. She is a character who is full of anger it seems, and is stubborn in clinging to that rage possessively as the only thing she has left. I also think she likes to self-punish by refusing to share anything with anyone, again clinging to that in fear of diminishing the loss through acceptance. She masks a lot with bravado and brusqueness, but I think sometimes she is afraid to be vulnerable.

We also get the first ever appearance of Edern, albeit brief.

He is also mentioned in Promptober 2025 - 10 - Milk of Wolves but not by name.

Also inspired in part by last week's farm trip in the middle of nowhere with the wind rustling through the reeds. You can really just inhale the silence when no people are around and feel a lot of things.
