Great work! .. and a compliment to the model. I personally know, that it is very exhausting to pose in this kind of bondage.

It was pretty tiring holding her up while the rigger tied her, too LOL

I know that, cause I did that in the past. Most people don'nt have an idea how such pictures are made.
Again, I like your work very much. :-)

Wonderful pose, how long did it take you to set it up? She looks like she is very comfortable.

The young lady has the perfect complextion for the shot; the contrast between her and the background really draws your eyes to her. Great shot, Thank-you for sharing

About 30 minutes. She stood while we set the 3 key ropes, then I held her while the rigger got the rest in place. Once it was done & we had the hand tie supporting her head she was pretty comfy.

And thanks, yes, Gia has great pale skin that worked well for this. It was her first suspension & I wanted it to be dramatic. :)

Beautiful in so many ways. I would love a good beauty sleep. The rigging looks phenomenal. Were there spotters to get her off the ground? She doesn't have a speck of dirt on her. Lucky girl. I was tarred and feathered in a similar situation. Well, it was sweat and hay instead. Regardless, I dig the composition as a whole. The lines, textures, spatial usage - it rocks my socks! (and it makes me jealous)

Narcissa, Gia is itty bitty. We started by putting the three key ropes on while she was standing on a towel, and then I held her up while she was rigged, she was never on the ground. Similar deal to this shot [link] of Laura, one advantage to working with you tiny 90 pound models. ;)

We ended up with ticks on us tho, they were in the old wood, and I got a bad case of poison ivy LOL. That location is off my list. (For this shot of Gia, the one of Laura was elsewhere.)

Glad you like it. I have a few more concepts like this in mind, I'm sure I can arrange to hang you from a tree one of these days. :P

Once she was all strung up she said it was LOL
The idea came from models I know saying they were so comfy in ties like that they could sleep in them.

This is a really good piece. The use of the ropes to hold up the model is used in a way that isn't macabre, but artfully done to show the message. The peace of the model, too, makes an interesting contrast. Keep up the good work =]

I find that manipulating the level curve (eg in HDR) sometimes flattens out the picture to two dimensions (less cues for the brain to fill out the third one)
I love how your image looks like there are 2 flat images superimposed. Looks like one of those old View-Master 3Ds ;)
