And then a few hours later, she came back as one of the walking dead... :D

This's the companion piece to Eat Your Heart Out, it was produced for the "Bloody" side of the My Bloody/Bloodless Valentine contest at #ViolentlyBeautiful
:iconviolentlybeautiful:

This image was set up, shot, and edited in just over an hour, thanks to *Ptollemy and ^pullingcandy for the wiggle room!
Luckily I had a box of bones & a vat of blood laying around...

Even more luckily, I live with a VERY patient model who loves me a lot & lets me dump ice-cold blood all over her at odd hours. :D Unfortunately she says I can now NEVER get away with the whole "I can't make that deadline!" schtick. :(

Photo of ~AngelleDeGuerre :iconangelledeguerre:
Makeup by model, styling & props were a joint effort.
The note is an Emily Dickinson quote:
"Parting is all we know of Heaven and all we need of Hell." Model provided the quote & calligraphy.

Prints (signed, limited edition, numbered) are available for sale directly, please contact me if you're interested.

Nothing says "love" like undead cannibalism. "Greater love hath no woman than she who returns from the dead to eat her lovers' heart" and all.

(I may be SLIGHTLY misrendering that quote.)

Thank you! :D Normally I'd have spent 2 or 3 more hours on the editing to get all the nit-picky details JUST so, but overall I think it came out pretty darn good.

And fortunately the crack I made in the description about keeping a box of bones & vat of blood around WASN'T a joke! :D
I am in SO much trouble if the police ever search my trunk when I'm on the way to a photo shoot LOL.
