The Fox Mobian known as Freddy was about to leave his house for the day when his twin sister Kaylee was at the front door looking a bit worried for her older brother. "Try to be Safe out there ok bro you never know who you might meet." "Yeah I know little Sis I'll be careful" Freddy say's as he puts on his green boots for the day as he sister soon retorts. "I'm only younger by an hour bro! How many times do I have to tell you that!" But Freddy just patted his sister on the head With a playful smile on his face as he glanced down at his sisters socks without her noticing and says. "Be sure to lock up after you leave for work." "I will bro." With that Freddy walks out the door and walks around Tawashi Village which is about the size of a small town. (pop. about 1,500) Which didn't have much just a few normal shops, A small high and elementary school, and few corner gas stations but other then that nothing else. However when he noticed a new sign on an old two floor shop that read. "Imawano Bakery" Freddy started to wonder what kids of breads and pastry's would be sold there. But thinking of the yummy food made him feel a bit hungry but He didn't have much on him so he just continued walking until he reached the woods and he noticed a lovely adult cat Mobian with green hair and fur that he never saw before in town walking right up to him as she took a quick glance at Freddys boots before Freddy said something.

"Hello there you new arround here?" he say's as he noticed the Cat Mobians Red sneakers as she soon talked to him. "Oh um..Yeah I moved here a few days ago." She said with a slight blush." Names Sayumi, Sayumi Imawano. And you are" "Names Freddy. So Sayumi you just out enjoying the little town?" He said as Sayumi sat on a nearby log. " Yeah After all it looks like it will turn out to be a nice day." Freddy just sat on the same log as she said that as he soon spoke up. "Yeah you might be right though it's hard to tell someday." "Yeah I guess" Sayumi said as she moved her left foot a bit closer to freddy. As his eyes widened a little as he saw her left leg moving closer to his. A bright blush creeping on his cheeks as he took in the sight of her slender, petite leg encased in her adorable baggy sock and large loose fitting sneaker. "something wrong you look love struck?" Sayumi soon say's as she soon notices why he was blushing like he was. "ah you like my shoes don't you?" she said to Freddy as he quickly turned his head away. Stuttering a little as he tried to recompose himself. "Ah..I well, Yes I mean...Um..W...What I mean is...um!.." Freddy stuttered in a panicked tone as Sayumi just giggled a bit. "It's alright they are quite nice shoes So I can understand why people would look at them. Besides you have some nice boots too." She said looking at Freddys boots as Freddy just blushed and soon said. "So..Um..Your not upset that I was staring? And you like my boots?" Sayumi just nodded her head. "Well yeah they suit you quite well." Sayumi said as she turned away to look at the trees. "Looks like fall will soon be here huh?" Said said to Freddy as he just nodded and worked up the courage to ask her something he wanted to do since he met her. "S...Sayumi would it be ok if I got a closer look? At your sneakers I mean." He says with a unsure tone as he was nervous about what she would say to him.

Sayumi said with a smile as she unties and removes her left sneaker and puts it next to Freddy who almost gets a nose bleed from the view of Sayumi's sock as she removed the sneaker and set it next to him as he soon picked it up. "Just be sure to return it when your done." "Wow so cute and so soft." Freddy said as he held the red sneaker that not a minute ago was on Sayumi's left foot. As Sayumi soon said while rubbing he socked foot in the grass. "Well thanks I got them cause they were kinda cute looking." "their so big how do you walk around in them?" Freddy Asked as he was just about blushing as red as a tomato as Sayumi giggled and said. "They only look big when unlaced they do fit quite well. I guess I'm lucky I own my own bakery where I can wear them then at some office where I have to wear heels and slip out of them all the time." When Sayumi said that as Freddy glanced a look at Sayumi's left socked foot. "Yeah I guess that would be hard with feet so small. Not that having small feet is a bad thing." Freddy Said with a blush as he looked back at the shoe in his hands. "It's alright foot size doesn't matter as long as you have good looking shoes." Sayumi said as she patted Freddys head and looked at his boots and got an idea. "Say you think that while you have one of my shoes I can have one of yours?" "Thanks Freddy And maybe later I can get you some better shoes if your boots are hard to work in?" "N..No it's fine. Besides I really like my boots." Freddy say's to Sayumi as he shakes his head As Sayumi noticed his thick socks and said. "Maybe it's your thick socks causing you the problems?" "Well if I didn't wear thick socks my boots would slip right off."

He says with some embarrassment as he watched Sayumi look at his boot and blushed at the sight of a cute cat girl in one shoe looking at his boot. "Well you do have a point there. So you Save your boots for work or winter normally cause thats what I do with mine?" Sayumi said as she put the boot in her lap as Freddy said back. "Well No there the only pair I have But their quite sturdy and good." He said With a smile as he tried to image Sayumi in a pair of cute boots. "I see well if you want I could get you some new shoes. After all I used to work in a shoe store and if you over use a single pair of shoes they might fall apart." Sayumi says as she lies about her working in a shoe store before coming here. But Freddy doesn't notice the lie and just asked. "Did something happen to make you open up a Bakery?" "Yeah it got closed down cause of a better shoe store opening up in Neo-Tokyo where I lived in last before coming here. And I was good at baking so I just figured I could open up a bakery here." Sayumi says with more lies as she hands back to the boot and takes back her sneaker and puts it back on as Freddy put his boot back on with a small frown. "Well I'm sorry to hear that but atleast you have the bakery to fall back on atleast." Sayumi just smiled a bit as she said. "Yeah though it's not easy running it by myself I could use an extra helping hand or two." "Wait really? cause If you want I could help you. I used to run the counter at a hardware store here So maybe I could do the same at your bakery?" Freddy said to Sayumi with a smile on his face and he finished retying his boot's laces. "Sure just no sampling the sweet's alright? Unless I say you can."

"don't worry Sayumi I will keep my sweet tooth under control." Freddy said to Sayumi with a sheepish smile as he looked down at Sayumi's shoed feet again. And Sayumi takes notice and asks. "Alright but First I need to ask but do you have a shoe or sock fetish as you seam to like both?" Freddy Just blush's when she said that as he gets a bit nervous and says. "Well I like both really." "I see well Theres nothing wrong with that besides I have a shoe fetish myself." Sayumi say's as she stands up as Freddy couldn't believe his ears when he heard that someone so cute would have the same interest's as him and ask her. "Y...You'd be ok with that?" "yeah I mean why wouldn't I be? Besides fate is a strange thing when it leads two people with the same likes close together." She say's as she helps Freddy up. and Freddy just chuckled as his hand rested on Sayumi's. "So your saying that it was fate that we ran into each other?" "pretty much. Now then how About I show you where my bakery is?" She say's as she walks next to Freddy and holds his hand as Freddy already knows where the bakery is but doesn't matter and he thinks this is just the beginning of a long and happy relationship. As they walk towards the two story shop that is Imawano bakery.
