So funny story .... Veronica (my college best friend) and I went to the Art Store then Price Rite for groceries today. The guy that rung out Veronica's sketchbooks remembered me from last year when I longboarded back to RIT with a ridiculously large mat board for 2D. (this is important!)
We left and went to Price Rite and ended up buying more things then we really should have. (Imagine 2 people with large backpacks and each with a large tote filled with groceries longboarding out of Price Rite... we probably looked REALLY pathetic.) Then, the same guy from the Art Store (who we later learned is named Peter) saw us and asked if went to RIT and if we needed a ride back. We couldn't deny his offer. Just before we got in the car, Peter stopped and told us not to assume the worse about a plastic syringe that was casually laying by the driver seat. He was no druggie, but a self-hired baby squirrel savior
So basically, Peter takes pity on pathetic things without discrimination (squirrels and art students, they are about the same).
