Where Has the Magic Gone? The Rise and Fall of the Harry Potter Fandom Introduction Fandom. Ever since the first story was written, around 4,000 years ago, fandom has always existed. But the modern-day fandom as we know it would take root towards the end of the 19th Century and Sherlock Holmes. Put it like this: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle planned to kill the character off and killed him off, but the fans protest in the form of letters prompted him to change his mind. In the 1960’s, with the debut of Star Trek on American television, it led to a new trend of fandom writing: Fan Fiction. While the Science Fiction Fandoms of the time were mainly male-dominated, the Star Trek fandom was female-dominated. The writings the authors wrote for the fandom were turned into “Fanfiction magazines”, which was distributed at Conventions; tropes such as “Slash” and “Mary Sue” originated in the Star Trek fandom. The Arena for the Fourteenth Hunger Games was to be a Space Centre. Thanks to an old book written long before the Dark Days, in which the author described a “rocket launching into space, carrying four people towards the Moon”, Snow’s team managed to recreate the Space Centre down to the last detail. The end of an era for the 3DS

On October 4th, 2023, Nintendo announced that the 3DS and WiiU Online servers will shut down in early April 2024. Of course, I had planned out back in 2020 on future Wonder Trades leading up to the very end, and in 2022, with the announcement of the eShop closure on both consoles, I decided to download Pokemon Bank, as well as the Badge Arcade and the ORAS and SM demos as gift Pokemon from the demos will be in demand once the eShop closes. Once Bank became free to use for those that downloaded it before the closure, I decided to put Pokemon in ready for eventual HOME Transfer. My Event Mons, Shinies and Vivillon patterns were the first to be moved to Bank, followed by Pokemon I will use to breed in preparation for WT in UltraSun. As I completed the Alola Dex on that save in early 2019, I decided that between the eShop shutdown and the Online Shutdown I will Wonder Trade in order to reduce the amount of both First Route Pokemon and Mitsuki Pokemon, with the majority of these released;

Anything else: I have a pretty good memory and when I was studying for my GCSE's I didn't revise at all. In fact, I can remember the exact moment in Year Seven that I realised I have a good memory, and it was in History.

Place: Bury. (Not to be confused with Bury St Edmunds. The Bury I'm referring to is the one famous for it's Black Pudding and not the Bury famous for the saint)

Books: Warrior Cats. Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.

Video Games: Professor Layton series, Pokemon, Witches and Vampires (An underrated game, DS game. Needs to beat it once I find the game),quite a few are my favourites.

Colours: Yellow and blue.

Food: Spaghetti Bolognese.

Movies: Matilda, Final Destination series and the Harry Potter series as well as many others. Basically a long list.

TV shows: The Simpson's, The Crystal Maze and How It's Made. I also love watching the football, but my mum has banned my dad from watching live matches in case my favourite team loses. Though I haven't watched much television recently.

Animals: Cats and Seahorses. (After getting a seahorse shaped bar of soap in Blackpool when I was a kid)

Music: Mainly Motown, ska and Eighties music. I also like some modern music.

Football team: Arsenal.

Least Favourites:

Books: The Twilight Saga, Fifty Shades of Grey (They are not really my thing.)

Video Games: Not applicable.

Food: Potatoes (if boiled)

Movies: Any film about any singer or band, The Twilight Saga.

TV shows: Any Reality Television. (I'm more of a Game Show fan, though The Voice is pretty good, I don't mind that.)

THIS PERSON LIKES TO SPAM ART REQUESTS MAKING IT HARDER FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO GET THEIR REQUESTS DONE TO THE POINT MANY ARTISTS ARE EVEN ASKING HER WHERE IS THEIR ART TRADE. Going to be moving into a new room

Sometime next month, my parents will be converting the old kitchen into a bedroom for when they can no longer go up the stairs. Their current bedroom will become my new bedroom while the room I'm currently in will be a guestroom for when we have visitors. The wardrobe in my youngest sister's room will be going in the new bedroom, and once that's out of the room, she will move her streaming equipment to where the wardrobe was; she wants to get a new tower so she can stream from the television, so she isn't going to spend as much. She brought stuff for her snake last week so she don't have to worry about the bedding and mice. I'm going to ask Mum about getting a new scanner/printer at some point so I can start posting Traditional Art as well as printing out my short stories. I have an idea of what the books should look like, and what sort of artwork should be in it. Plus if I can learn bookbinding, I can repair one of my favourite childhood novels, Secrets by Jacqueline Wilson. I read

After 31 years, The Golden Owl may have been found https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvglkr4p578o It was an owl buried somewhere in France and was inspired by a 1979 book called Masquerade, in which a golden hare is buried somewhere in Britain; the plot of the book centred on a hare, who delivers a love token from the moon to the sun, and when he reaches the sun he finds he dropped the treasure somewhere. The reader must look for the golden hare through a series of clues and puzzles in the artwork. The treasure was "found" by a man who was dating the artist/author's ex-girlfriend at the time. However the artist acknowledged that two physics teachers worked out where the hare was buried via the final clue, and that they were metres off from where the hare was.
