This stereotype is common in UK Media
One thing I find annoying about UK Media is the common stereotype that young people "Not In Education, Employment or Training" are feckless. I've been a NEET for nearly ten years (Let's just say a College took someone who only attends school whenever he feels like it over someone who would attend school, even when she is in a bad mood). In the UK, if you're a NEET, most people think you are a lazy scrounger who sit on their arses smoking drugs and drinking all day. I don't fit into the stereotypes of a NEET. I want to work and also to be independent. There are many reasons why a teenager or a young adult becomes a NEET.
At least you stay out of drama
Last year I felt that barely anyone was favouriting my artwork. However, the more I thought about it the more I realise there are a lot of advantages in being an underrated artist. You can't be accused of "Stirring up drama".

This stamp is for the underatted and unappreciated artists
The first live stream of a steam loco journey
For those that was wondering, SteamLocoRideLIVE was a Live Stream of a journey by the steam locomotive "Samson". To celebrate the return of the 4-8-2, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway decided to mark the occasion with a live stream on the Internet. Local newspapers and Twitter covered the Mountain's return.

Interesting fact: Samson was the locomotive my family and I rode behind when I was ten.
Looking at you Crazy Frog
The "Crazy Frog" is a reference to what is known as "The Annoying Thing".

Ever wondered what things should never have existed in the first place? Especially if they make zero sense.
Playing Pool
After being sent to work twice in one day, and with his energy restored, Secret Agent Achilles Molyneux decides to play a game of Pool in an attempt restore his "Fun" bar. The Pool is from University Life, while the Dartboard is from Late Night

The Sims 3 is owned by EA
Achilles Molyneux is owned by me
Reading: Nothing

I have got my new glasses. They're quite strong, and I have been getting used to them. I have decided not to do any controversal stamps for a while, so the next lot of stamps will be aesthetic. Do anyone remember back in August last year when I tried to transfer music from the home computer to my laptop? Well, it was only half the music I wanted that transferred successfully. Even worse, the pen drive I used has gone missing. So I'm going to retry tomorrow

Artist | Hobbyist | Literature
United Kingdom
In my spare time I write and draw. I am just a female who does these things in her spare time.
About me:
Age: 26
Star sign: Leo.
Hair colour: Mouse, though I have bits of ginger.
Eye colour:Hazel.
Any siblings: Two sisters, one brother.
What hand: Right handed
Political orientation: I don't have much interest in politics. As one man once said "International Politics look so petty". I think our Politicians are suffering from the "Canute Syndrome"
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester.
Height: Five foot two inches.
Background: 87.5% English, 12.5% Scottish (With some Irish, German (mostly Hanoverian), Romani and West Indian mixed in.)
Religion: Anglican

Note: Please don't spam my profile with chain messages.
Another note: You can draw my OC's, but give credit.

Anything else: I have a pretty good memory and when I was studying for my GCSE's I didn't revise at all. In fact, I can remember the exact moment in Year Seven that I realised I have a good memory, and it was in History.
Place: Bury. (Not to be confused with Bury St Edmunds. The Bury I'm referring to is the one famous for it's Black Pudding and not the Bury famous for the saint)
Books: Warrior Cats and Harry Potter.
Video Games: Professor Layton series, Pokemon, Witches and Vampires (An underrated game, DS game. Needs to beat it once I find the game),quite a few are my favourites.
Colours: Yellow and blue.
Food: Spaghetti Bolognese.
Movies: Matilda, Final Destination series and the Harry Potter series as well as many others. Basically a long list.
TV shows: The Simpson's, The Crystal Maze and How It's Made. I also love watching the football, but my mum has banned my dad from watching live matches in case my favourite team loses. Though I haven't watched much television recently.
Books: The Harry Potter series, Warrior Cats.
Animals: Cats and Seahorses. (After getting a seahorse shaped bar of soap in Blackpool when I was a kid)
Music: Mainly Motown, ska and Eighties music. I also like some modern music.
Football team: Arsenal.

Least Favourites:
Books: The Twilight Saga, Fifty Shades of Grey (They are not really my thing.)
Video Games: Not applicable.
Movies: Any film about any singer or band, The Twilight Saga.
TV shows: Any Reality Television. (I'm more of a Game Show fan, though The Voice is pretty good, I don't mind that.)
Music: Justin Beiber, One Direction.
Anything else: Conspiracy theorists (namely ones who think that Global Warming doesn't exist and that the Apollo Lunar Missions were faked, you know the ones I mean), Fanbrats and fangirls (They destroy fandoms), Plagiarism, Idiots, Politics, Trolls, Certain Daily Mail Columnists (Looking at you Jan Moir), Tabloid "News", Paul Darce (Biggest Hypocrite Going.) Religious "Cults" such as Quiverfull, Westboro Baptist Church etc

Hobbies: Sewing, reading, writing, drawing, swimming, finding out little-known facts, reading terrible book reviews and surfing the internet.
Another thing: If I fave without commenting it may mean I love the artwork and there are no words to describe why I love it.

Hello Katy Marie, many thanks for four faves from May! Apologies for the long delay in thanking you: I haven't been on dA very often over the last few months. Perhaps now that our lovely summer is over I will be more inclined to spend the long winter nights catching up!! Thanks again it is much appreciated. :thanks:
