I lay in dawn-less bedcovers. Unlidded dreams have come to grieve here. I cry for Horus's golden eye; Burn into my blinds so I can wonder at your being. I fashion you from words from garden boughs and forest shrines but you are crystal rain. Nothing sieves your storms. The oak will drown in muddy floods long before it thirsts. Once I thought you an earthly substrate or pulp for hungry roots to feed. You're neither; You're the pulling well that keeps the garden out of space. I took you for allevements; you are the birth and pain and bliss and death of all of life itself.
