A klingon as seen in Star Trek: The Animated Series.
For those who do not know, the odd coloration of many things in the show (Such as the pink clad klingon shown here) was because Hal Sutherland, the director, was color blind.

If I hadn't come across that trivia point elsewhere, I'd have thought you were joking.

I never heard it was Sutherland per se, though.... just 'the man who assigned colors for the cels'.
