The current mage in charge of healing and resurrecting the gladiatrixes.  Initially hired as an apprentice healer to deal with minor injuries; Mortici found that working at the arena was an excellent way to practice his trade and grew his skills rapidly.  As his skills improved he was able to handle more severe injuries and eventually learned how to resurrect the dead fighters.  Seven years ago when the master healer at the time retired from the arena to pursue other work, Mortici was promoted to the position.
