Count Me In

A few hours after his first race, Grenade had time to cool down before it came time for his second race. Stacy tacked the stallion up and led him out then mounted up. She trotted around with the post parade before loading into the gates. She patted Grenade and spoke softly to him. In a flash the gates flew open and horses shot out, taking their claim among the pack as they sped down the track. Stacy held Grenade back for a bit before letting him loose as they rounded the last turn. Grenade snorted, surging forward and passing horse after horse as they neared the finish line.
