Darken Heart: Chapter 1 The Ring

 I'm going to tell you all a story. About a girl who was one of a kind, about the father who's soul burned like hell's fire, about the mother who flew high above the clouds. But this isn't a story you might of heard of before, because like most stories hate began with love, love began with hate. But sometimes to truly know how her story end, you must first know how theirs began.

         To start their story let it begin on the day where one soul met a man with no soul.

           On a cloudy day like every other with the rain crying through a village as a black chariot strolls through the town where people were left chilled to the bone as they hear the thunder beginning to roar with great rage for they all know that the one in the black chariot, a man a masked man was there to collect his bride.

At a chapel, a group of people were preparing a young bride for her groom. A young woman hair black as night, eyes blue as lapis, skin white as snow, who refused to speak for she is forced to be married to someone she doesn't even know or love but she dose not have a choice in the matter because when it comes to marriage it was written in blood on a contract that women are forced to marry  someone no matter what.

"Ok, lets just put on the tarp on top. You got to look your best after all dear." said one of the helpers fixing her robes for her but hears nothing from the bride. Nothing but a blank broken face devoid of hope as she knows that her life was at the beginning to the end. Soon enough they could hear the sound of horses arriving with the black chariot as they know the groom has arrived.

The doors of the chapel shot open with all the candles in the chapel being blown out leaving the whole place in darkness as the masked figure enters the place he see's as unholy while he was welcomed by one of the servants of the chapel "Ahh w-welcome sir. Would u like a beverage, a book to read, a sandwich to snack on, or..." Didn't finished for the servant was in fear from just the sound of the masked man's deep breaths feeling like he was taking his soul.

"Bring me my bride." demanded the masked man as he steps closer to one of the servants making him breath deeper and faster with the sense of fear.

"Y-Y-Yes sir I-I'l go bring you your bride. heheh" as he begins to run off to bring him the young bride. within a few minuets a group of people in white cloaks returns back to the masked man with his bride chained from neck to wrists still doesn't speak once as she sees the blank mask he wears on his face, along with him being taller then a giant to her.

"hand," He said as he holds out his hand for hers with a ring and without hesitation she complied holding her hand out for him, as he places the ring on her finger. By then she now belong to him for all of eternity and just like that the masked man and his young bride left in the black chariot as one of the priests in the chapel said, "May god have mercy, on her soul." as they closed the chapel doors.

Minutes have passed as the masked man and his bride have been in the chariot hearing nothing but the rain pouring and the sound of the hooves stomping the ground as they head to the couple's newest home. The masked man just kept staring at his bride with deep breathing "speak." he ordered her to do so but nothing came out of her, she did not say a word. "Speak!" he ordered her again but she once again refused to say anything to him. as he clinched his fist, he gritted his teeth out of frustration as he takes a deep breath, "I said..." grabs her by her chain as his mask flew off his face. "SPEAK!!!!" he roars at the top of his lounges as he sees the fear in his brides eyes and as she sees every part of her groom. Seeing bright yellow eyes that burned a thousand damned souls, horns on the top of his head, sharp claws, giant red demon like wings from the blood of hell. But by then she had discovered that she has just been married... to The Devil, himself.
